I know I said I'd post every week but the pictures took me ages and I may or may not have forgotten how long a week was *cough*<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Oh, and these designs aren't finalised, as I don't like some of them. The characters will pretty much stay the same though, cos they're pretty much done..</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But yeah. It may still be a few weeks/months before I start, because after I finished the picture of my characters I realised how shockingly bad my drawings actually are, so I need to work on that.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But yeah. Here's Nixie Black, our protagonist!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO1oVuhZCJEvt-xwh8cm9vN_asL0Nm3MXb7rGPD5j3lwHixKspaQJQk8w8Ia2vNDt-nGleltPUl0zd76n0BVUyQMzPzTeV7WIg0yDeKBayocpAAjTyA_HkDZqqdRalh7fxvmPMtAOnXmn8/s1600/Nixie+Black.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="840" data-original-width="1600" height="335" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjO1oVuhZCJEvt-xwh8cm9vN_asL0Nm3MXb7rGPD5j3lwHixKspaQJQk8w8Ia2vNDt-nGleltPUl0zd76n0BVUyQMzPzTeV7WIg0yDeKBayocpAAjTyA_HkDZqqdRalh7fxvmPMtAOnXmn8/s640/Nixie+Black.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In case you can't read my horrible handwriting, Nixie likes Shakespeare, Jane Austen, friends, memorising lines and acting (If she can). She also dislikes Cars, bothering people unnecessarily and people who willingly hurt others. She's about sixteen.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I hope you guys like it! It's not the best drawing I've done, but I think it's one of my favourites when it comes to the characters that I drew.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Next one comes out hopefully soon!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Peace!</div>

<br />
Thank you for the positive feedback; I'm going to go ahead with the comic! It may take me a while to prepare, however. I have to design all the characters, decide what formats to use, etc. I didn't realise until I started to get serious about this comic how bland my characters were, lol. I'm working on it - I want what it's about to be a surprise, but I <i>can</i> put up some stuff that I'm working on, about the main characters...<br />
<br />
I'll do that at the end, because I'm evil -w-<br />
<br />
So, something else I wanted to discuss;<br />
<br />
I'm considering writing short stories again .D. Not like, a few paragraphs long, like my other ones. Closer to one or two pages long. I've got an idea for one I particularly want to do, but I need to find my document where I wrote the idea down. I'll post it on here, if you guys would like?<br />
<br />
Oh! Also, I'll still be doing art dumps & requests (Geez, I've got a loott of drawing in the foreseeable future)<br />
<br />
Anyway, now for my characters!<br />
<br />
Their silhouettes are the easiest to do quickest, so here they are! (This isn't counting minor characters/characters that don't appear as much as the others)<br />
<br />
(Okay so I said the above sentences about three days ago - it's taken me this long just to draw some silhouettes T~T)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFQvh4J2H2-rCJ1kRKszoTWJFil0rRLF1k84JCxH5uFiFXUzjwJn5xRPZPqQDAQZ7wYPXmkCYOFDg7SBVsZiptP9Pjp78thhaxEVUnSxpjhHi8MKukm-Xb6JW9BuoK60MCHya-VANZPQqH/s1600/Comic+Characters+-+Sneak+Peak.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="840" data-original-width="1600" height="332" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFQvh4J2H2-rCJ1kRKszoTWJFil0rRLF1k84JCxH5uFiFXUzjwJn5xRPZPqQDAQZ7wYPXmkCYOFDg7SBVsZiptP9Pjp78thhaxEVUnSxpjhHi8MKukm-Xb6JW9BuoK60MCHya-VANZPQqH/s640/Comic+Characters+-+Sneak+Peak.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
The thing I'm next going to reveal is the characters - I'd best get working on the detail and actual colours and stuff soon, rip me.<br />
<br />
Sorry this post is so short T~T. I wish I had more info to share, but if I did <i>that,</i> I might accidentally give away major spoilers because I get really excited, lol. As I finish the characters, I'll do a little bio for them and post them on here. May take a while, with school and stuff, and the fact that we've been really, really busy lately, sorry. I'll try and get one out a week, (starting next,) but I apologise if I miss a week or so - somehow my calender's really full, so that's fun.<br />
<br />
<br />
Some of the characters in the picture have more detail than others, for example the one in the grey in the middle, if I didn't add more detail he looked like he had no arms, which looked strange.<br />
<br />
Oh, and by the way, the four on the left are boys, the four on the right are girls.<br />
<br />
<br />
Okay, I'm gonna go now. Bye!<br />

What's happened is;<br /><br />
-I've gotten sick about twice now,<br />
-I also have been hanging out with a bunch of friends,<br />
-I've also also been skipping from one project to the next, cos apparently I'm incapable of finishing/starting anything T~T<br /><br />But I have an idea.<br />
<br />
An idea that may help me actually learn to get things done on time and be super entertaining for you guys.<br /><br />I'm working on writing and drawing a comic!<br /><br />I'm not going to spoil what it's about or anything, but I'm working on the story beats, character designs, etc. Hopefully it'll be actually good since I'm not all that good at some parts of drawing, and I'm looking for improvement all the time (sorry if my art style changes a bit, lol.)<br />
<br />
So, I was wondering if you guys would like to read it? I'd try to do about 3+ panels a page, one page a month, etc. It may be a leeettlle dark, I don't really know yet. This is just an idea I've had for a while, so..<br />
<br />Let me know in the comments below if you would like to see it, and if the answer turns out positive, I'll get to work quicker.<br />
<br />
Peace!<br />~RalraymeeRalraymeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07981268172886609558noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2486354890898654599.post-78120070231213875622019-04-10T21:19:00.000-07:002019-04-10T21:38:59.560-07:00Le Shorteth Storyth Hey Guys!<br />
<br />
Okay, so, I know I said I wouldn't really do short stories anymore,<br />
<br />
But,<br />
<br />
I did a Friday Freewrite - something I've mentioned in <a href="https://art-of-life-girl.blogspot.com/2017/09/a-fridaybut-its-monday-free-write.html">another post</a>, and I decided that the first part of it was a pretty good short story.<br />
<br />
So, here you go!<br />
<br />
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
looked at the green door which had just appeared in the side of a
hedge. I peered through its heart-shaped hole. Surely.. it didn't
lead outside? But no one had been outside in centuries! I tried the
handle.. it was unlocked. I glanced around; I wanted to be sure that
no one was around to see me. If I was seen, I could die for supposed
witchcraft. But I'd done nothing.. hadn't I?</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
looked back at the door. Maybe I should just leave, I thought. After
all, if I was caught anywhere near this thing, I'd most likely be put
to death. And even if no one saw me except Abigail or Janeth, I would
be severely punished. If I just left, I would be fine. Right?<br />
And
yet I stayed. I had a sudden urge to leave, to open the door and to
leave. I can't leave right now, I thought, surely.. I don't have any
food or anything.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<i> All
that will be provided for,</i><span style="font-style: normal;">
something whispered to me, </span><i>just go through the door!</i></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<span style="font-style: normal;">I
hesitated. I felt like I had to go </span><i>now.</i><span style="font-style: normal;">
Like I would be in huge trouble if I didn't.</span></div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
To my shock and horror, the door started to fade before my eyes,
slowly, from the bottom.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<i>Now!!</i></div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I quickly opened the door and slipped through, closing it behind me
as the door faded back into the hedge.</div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<br />
<br />
I know it's short, and I'm sorry about that.<br />
<br />
<br />
But.<br />
<br />
<br />
I also had an idea to turn this into an actual book or story. Of course; I'd post the chapters I write on here, for you guys to read. I've already had a few ideas, so I might just start turning this into a book.<br />
<br />
Let me know what you guys think - if you'd read it or not, lol.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Anyway, that's it for now!<br />
<br />
See ya!<br />
<br />
~Ral~<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This one took me, like, 8+ hours. RIP. But I love these girls! .D. The reason why the shy girl on the far right (Adley - my girl) has loads of tattoos is that one of her super powers is she can summon anything she draws as long as it's close by.. So she drew on herself.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
So, Yeah! These are my pictures for now..<br />
<br />
For now..<br />
<br />
<br />
I'll probably post another art dump soon (Or more pictures at least)<br />

<br />
I GOT TAGGED!<br />
<br />
Somehow.<br />
<br />
Even though I don't post much.<br />
<br />
Thanks Slissy!<br />
<br />
Alright, here we go:<br />
<br />
1. How many books are too many books in a book series?<br />
<br />
If each book is a different adventure? About Five. *CoughCoughBrotherbandCoughCough* But, if the same story continues through the whole series, as many as they make!<br />
<br />
<br />
2. How do you feel about cliffhangers?<br />
<br />
I love them, except when you're forced to wait for AGES until the last bit comes out and/or you find it at the Library.<br />
<br />
If you love cliffhangers, read <i>The Last 13.</i> It's a relatively good series, but there are soo many books and the books are so short.<br />
<br />
3. Hardback or paperback?<br />
<br />
I like both, but we usually get paperback.<br />
<br />
4. Favourite book?<br />
<br />
*Internally screaming*<br />
<br />
These are the ones that come to mind;<br />
<br />
Princess of the Silver Woods - Jessica Day George<br />
Appendix Man - Angus McNeil (First ever Aussie Superhero!)<br />
A School for Good and Evil - Soman Chainani<br />
Percy Jackson - Rick Rioden.<br />
<br />
I can't think of any more atm, I don't know why. Maybe I'm tired..<br />
<br />
<br />
5. Least favorite book?<br />
<br />
TOUCH OF POWER - MARIA V SNYDER.<br />
*Deep breath*<br />Some of you may remember that in Camp NaNoWriMo one time I was really salty about a book by Maria V Snyder?<br /><br />I'm still not over it.<br />
<br />
She KILLED my favourite character! But the main reason I stopped is cos it was too adult for me.<br />
<br />
6. Love triangles, yes or no?<br />
<br />
This question reminds me of a YTer - <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3ogrx6d9oohf6D42G44j1A/featured">Terrible Writing Advice</a> - He basically throws in Love Triangles whenever there's something he can't solve.<br />
<br />
But if done right, yep. I like them .D.<br />
<br />
7.The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?<br />
<br />
Oof. Maybe.. Either Brotherband 6 - Scorpian Mountain or Appendix Man 2. Idk why, I think I was just reading other stuff.<br />
I think I've not finished a book recently.. but I can't think what. I <i>know</i> it's not Grimsdon New City cos I really wanna finish that.. but.. Ye.<br />
<br />
8. A book you’re currently reading?<br />
<br />
Eragon Inheritance. This is the first time I'm reading this book and I have to finish it before Friday. It's really good!<br />
<br />
9. Last book you recommended to someone?<br />
<br />
Hmm...<br />
I don't remember. Honest, sorry!<br />
<br />
10. Oldest book you’ve read? (publication date)<br />
<br />
Hold up. I needa google.<br />
<br />
Probably Pride and Prejudice - same as Slissy.<br />
<br />
11. Newest book you’ve read? (publication date)<br />
<br />
Uh.. Maybe Touch the Sun in <i>The Freedom Fighters</i> series. It's a choose your own adventure book, but really good! It's more real then the Scooby doo one I read (Don't Judge please xD) and it makes you feel like you're actually in the scenario. I died multiple times trying to escape from the terrorist gang, but now I know for the next one - Break Your Chains.<br />
<br />
12. Favourite author?<br />
<br />
Jessica Day George!! She writes some amazing stuff, and I've got eight out of the thirteen books she's published. (I need the rest of the <i>Castle Glower</i> series (Book three onward), <i>Silver in the Blood</i>, <i>Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow </i>and (I'm not particularly fussed about this one) <i>The Rose Legacy</i>)<br />
<br />
13. Buying books or borrowing books?<br />
<br />
I don't have any pocket money at all. So I have to borrow books from the library. I'm used to it and I really like doing it, but if it's borrowing from other people I'm really cautious and don't leave the books open sitting on the couch.<br />
<br />
14. A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?<br />
<br />
Twilight.<br />
<br />
Okay, I've never read it - or any books like that - but still. I need an answer, right? xD<br />
<br />
15. Bookmarks or dog-ears?<br />
<br />
Bookmarks .D.<br />
<br />
16. A book you can always reread?<br />
<br />
Princess of the Silver Woods by Jessica Day George. It's so good and I love it and I've forced two of my friends to read it but I love it, even though it has a swear or two.<br />
<br />
17. Can you read while hearing music?<br />
<br />
See, I'm the kind of person who sings along to music. I've taught myself to memorise songs when I put them on loop and do other things (Videogames) and so the words kind of ingrain themselves into my mind.<br />
<br />
I've tried it before but the music frustrates me and distracts me from the precious book.<br />
<br />
18. One POV or multiple POVs?<br />
<br />
I like Multiple POVs. It shows you stories from different scenarios. For example, being in a fight. Someone who had PTSD from being in a war would see a fight way differently to someone who had never been in a fight before. It's really interesting.<br />
<br />
19. Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?<br />
<br />
I have read so many books in one sitting it's crazy.<br />
<br />
Princess of the Silver woods was one (Sorry I keep mentioning it but it's a really good book!!! Just a reminder, it's the third one in the series and I recommend <i>not</i> doing what I did and reading the last one first.)<br />
<br />
I've read a lot of the Trixie Beldon books in one sitting. They're really good, too! Mum collected them as a kid and she has, like, thirty of them, so I like reading them.<br />
<br />
20. Who do you tag?<br />
<br />
If you see this, MEM, You're it! These are the questions:<br />
<br />
<br />

<span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Okay, so this is one of my Roleplay Characters, Nova. She has a really tough time in the story - Her father left when she was two, her wrist gets broken by the baddie, the Baddie says he'll kill her like he killed her father, he almost kills her mother, etc. She's a Mutant - A Half-animal person, who has powers and stuff. Her Mutant is a Kitsune Fox, meaning her powers are Spitting lightning, shooting fire out of nine tails and illusions.)</span></div>

I'm Back-ish! And I have an idea!!Hello!!<br /><br />I'm sorry that I haven't posted for a while (Understatement of the <i>year</i>), BUT!<br />
<br />
I have a new idea.<br />
<br />
One that could maybe revive this blog.<br />
<br />
.OOO.<br />
<br />
Okay, so as I (think? I) said in the last post, I'm not as inspired to write as I am to draw. I don't really want to be a writer anymore, but I want to draw / write comics (Or Manga).<br />
<br />
And so it comes to this.<br />
<br />
My idea is, that I will draw the characters you guys submit! (If you want to. You don't have to, it's just a suggestion so that I get a little more practise and so that you guys get a picture of your character! .D.)<br />
<br />
So if you want to do this, the information I will need is;<br />
<br />
-Name<br />
-Age<br />
-Gender<br />
-Species<br />
-And any other info you can think of (Like Personality, clothes and theme-song)<br />
<br />
Like I said, you don't have to do this, and if you don't, that's Oki .D. But I don't really have anything else to put up here, other than short stories and I don't really write them at the moment, lol.<br />
<br />
So, Please put your entries/characters in the comments, and I'll randomly choose one and draw!<br />
<br />
(Also if you want it to be a speed-draw or just a picture let me know)<br />
<br />
Thanks!<br />See you soon!<br /><br />

*Peeks out from my hiding place*<br />*Whimpers*<br />I'm sorryyyy! I haven't been on for ages, and I didn't really do anything during camp Nano (Including just talking), but we've been REALLY Busy lately, with going away a couple of times, having people come up to stay three times, starting to go to Art and Shakespeare every second Wednesday, and I've been dedicating a <i>lot</i> to my Drawing recently (I might put up some stuff later .D.)<br /><br />But anyway, I'm really sorry I haven't posted for MONTHS! I've just.. kinda.. lost inspiration. Like, I do enjoy writing, but I'm currently enjoying reading & Drawing /more./ And we've been really busy, so I mightn't post for a while (Again, I'm sorry!)<br />
<br />
But to make up for it, I think I have Sufficient funny stuff to post.<br />
<br />
What do I mean? Let's go back in time for a minute..<br />
<br />
So, ages ago (Like, a year or so ago) I read These two Posts (<a href="http://graymariewrites.blogspot.com/2017/08/weird-things-my-non-writer-friends-have.html">Post1</a>, <a href="https://jemjoneswriter.blogspot.com/2017/08/beware-im-writer-or-meet-my-family.html">Post2</a>) and decided to do something like it, cos they were really funny.<br />
<br />So, here are some funny things me and my Family & friends have done! .D.<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
But Hey! This is the next story!<br /><br />I'm just gonna back up a bit, this story has a story in and of itself.<br />
(Okay, I <i>might've</i> had to do it for school. Mum asked me to write my own myth and or folktale, so this is what I wrote .D.)<br />
<br />
And now that that's done, here's the story! .D.<br /><br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: large;">My own folktale; The Miners</span></div>
Once upon a time, there was a group of Miners. They were very good friends, and they always had a good time, which made other miners envious.<br />
After a hard day’s work, they liked to sit in a Pub. This is where our story finds them. Do you see them there? The Five friends. They look quite Barbaric, but I can assure you that they are not. The one with the heavily smashed glasses that are, somehow, staying on his face, is the reader of the group. He knows more than the others, and educates them, much to their annoyance. So, there you have it. They are not Barbarians after all.<br />
And yet.<br />
This story is about to prove that sentence wrong.<br />
One very small and skinny Miner is sitting alone, in the corner, having made no friends after yet another day’s work. He’d had to move a few months before, and now he is sadder than ever, watching the friend group laugh and joke and drink and drink and drink. You all must know how he feels, as, in some point in this vastly unfair life, you all must have been excluded. Whether it was age, or they simply did not want to play with you.<br />
But this miner has a few tricks up his sleeve. For he had studied under Merlin for about two decades. And his magic power was just as fresh.<br />
He timidly walked up to the friends and said; “Hello. May I sit with you?”<br />
But the Miners’ laughter was so loud that they didn’t hear him, and he walked away, hurt.<br />
<br />
The next night, at the Pub again, he walked up to the miners and asked, shyly and quietly; “Hello.. May I sit with you now?”<br />
This time, someone heard.<br />
They talked, in hushed voices, and - mostly because of the Reader - they let him sit with them. He and the reader made good friends, and the others felt envious, This stranger was stealing their friend!<br />
The next day, however, the Reader fell ill. And so, the went to the Pub again. The Miner walked up to them yet again, and this time asked; “Where is your friend?”<br />
One of them explained while the other three joked around.<br />
“Oh,” The Miner said. “Well, may I sit with you?”<br />
Silence fell over the table. Then, they talked in hush whispers, and denied The Miner the ‘privilege’ of sitting with them. He went home, more upset than ever.<br />
<br />
Now, you must remember what I said earlier; The Miner had studied under the great wizard Merlin for decades. He pulled out his cauldron, wand and wizards’ robes, fetched water from the well, filled the cauldron and added the ingredients to this dastardly concoction. I will not write the recipe in here, however, as the result is most evil and I would not want that getting out into the worlds, would I?<br />
The Miner looked sadly at the cauldron. He would give them one more chance. If they rejected him still, he would reveal himself as Merlin’s apprentice (For he wore a magical disguise,) and use the potion. It was sad, though, what would happen if they rejected him. He filled a bottle full of the bright red liquid.<br />
<br />
The next night, The Reader was still ill, and the four friends sat at the table. The miner walked up to him.<br />
“Excuse me, may I sit with you?” He asked.<br />
“For Goodness’ Sake NO!” The friends yelled. Silence followed for a minute or so.<br />
“I’m sorry to hear that.” The Miner said quietly, taking out the bottle from his bag, he threw it at the friends. They shouted and put their hands over their eyes, though the liquid evaporated immediately, and - to everyone’s shock - so did the glass.<br />
The Miner walked away. He was done with them.<br />
The friends, after a while, continued to joke and laugh. Then, one of them got offended, and started to argue with another. This continued, until they all were arguing. Eventually, they all got up and left, slamming the Pub’s door behind them.<br />
<br />
The reason I tell you this story is not to criticise you, nor do I say this pointedly, but remember this; It is far better to include someone than to exclude them; for it is another friend. And you can never have enough of them.<br />
<div>
<br /><br /><br /></div>
<div>
And that's the story! I just want to say I don't feel excluded or anything, I honestly just picked a moral for the story and so I did this one inclusion.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway, I got a couple of questions for you guys;</div>
<div>
What sort of stories would you guys like to see? I've got another story idea ready for next week (Hopefully), but what sort of stories would <i>you</i> guys like to see? Let me know if you have any ideas that I could use, or anything the like in the comments .D.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Anyway, that's me for this week (or for now.. ;) )<br /><br /></div>
<div>
See you later!</div>

<br />
I have not posted on here in a couple of weeks (even though I said I would) Because I honestly forgot. I'm really sorry.<br />
But!<br />
To make up for it, I'ma gonna give you the next story - see if you can find out which one it's sequel to ;)<br />
<br />
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I ached everywhere.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">A ringing filled my ears.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I heard muffled voices. One of which I recognised.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">Jake…?</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I opened my eyes as much as I could. It took a lot of effort. I smiled. Jake always managed to find me, and rescue me from trouble. I closed my eyes and relaxed. The memory of what had happened flowed back to me;</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Welcome home, Tori.” The man had said. I gasped. “Surprised? I wouldn’t be. You know why I’m here.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“I’m not going with you,” I growled. “I made that mistake before.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Ah, but you see here, Tori.” He took a small thing out of his backpack. It was a little black box with a button. My eyes widened when I saw it. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath and opened them again.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">There were the numbers.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I tried to break the wires. He laughed.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“You think that I would just let you break the wires? I’m not like Jake. My powers have come. Give yourself up now,” He extended his hand, “Or everything here goes Kaboom.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I hesitated. All those people..</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">No. More people would die if I went with them. Everyone would.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">Til we were the last ones left.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“What’s your choice, Tori? Will you come with us, where you belong? Or will you stay, and everyone dies? It’s your choice.”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Their blood will be on your hands.” I said, then ran for the window.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">KABOOOM!</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I heard a ringing, and I blacked out.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">When I woke up I was under sheets of metal. I ached all over, and my foot couldn’t move.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">Then came the voice;</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Tori!! Tori!!” A desperate voice. It was familiar. I heard water droplets on the metal.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Here!” I managed to say, using up all my energy.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Tori! I’m coming!” The voice said, and I heard them moving sheets of metal.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">They had found me. I could relax now..</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I sat bolt upright in my bed, making the boy sitting in the chair in the corner jump. I was in a hospital room, with a bright brown wooden floor, and wooden walls, painted white. My heart was pounding. Then I recognised the boy.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">He had wild brown hair, just lighter than mine, and slightly longer than I remembered. Just as wild, though. He had worried brown eyes, which were looking at me in shock.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Jake..?”</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">“Tori!” He ran over and hugged me.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre;">I closed my eyes and hugged him back. I was safe now.</span></span></div>

So, I was Slightly panicky, as I had no inspiration and had no idea what to write, and then I decided to listen to music in order to inspire me.<br />
<br />
<a href="https://youtu.be/WzZZediAqR4">This is the song I listened to.</a><br />
<br />
My original idea was waay different to what I actually wrote, but I still think it's really good (And really sad). It's also my second(I Thinks) time writing from a Boy's perspective. So.. Yeah .D.<br />
<br />
Here 'tis! .D.<br />
<br />
(This story doesn't have a name yet, as I has no idea what to call it)<br />
<br />
I tore through the crowd, the weight of what had just happened heavy on my heart.<br />
<i> Would I ever see her again..?</i><br />
I pushed that thought out of my mind and ran as fast as I could to the place where the explosion had taken place. People were running and screaming the opposite way. Soot and dread filled the air, mixed with death.<br />
Then I saw the place of the explosion.<br />
Everything had been blackened by soot, and there was fire still burning. Heart pounding, I started to shift some of the metal debris left by the explosion.<br />
“Tori!!” I yelled, desperation filling my voice. “Tori!!” I called again, and felt tears slide down my face. I did not wipe them away.<br />
And then I heard a muffled reply.<br />
“Tori! I’m coming!” I climbed through the debris to where I thought her voice had been. I just managed to shift the metal away and found Tori, her face blackened by soot, and I was pretty sure legs weren’t supposed to bend that way.<br />
But for the first time in years, I’d seen Tori.<br />
“Somebody get a Doctor!” I yelled, and someone immediately ran off to find one of the paramedics.<br />
Tori looked different to what I remembered; Her beautiful brown hair was longer, and she was slightly taller. Doubt plagued my mind. I worried if it was her, if she wouldn’t make it. I couldn’t take it any longer.<br />
I gently took her left hand and looked at it.. And breathed a sigh of relief. There was the scar. It was her. I held her close to me, relieved that it was her.<br />
Relieved that their assassination attempt had not worked.<br />
Anger towards them surged through me. They had once been friends.<br />
Not anymore. Nothing could atone for almost taking the life of Tori, and taking the lives of so many others.<br />
Paramedics arrived and I stood up. I walked with them, as the lifted her into the ambulance.<br />
No one would get away with this.<br />
No one.<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Did you like it? It's a bit darker & heavier than what I usually write, but if you guys would like me to write more about this story/turn it into an actual book (As I think that'd be fun) please let me know!</div>

So I was working on this new idea I have for a story, and thinking about what to write for my Short stories and then it hit me:<br />
I could write one of the Character's backstories as a short story for you guys.<br />
So, That's what I did (I had to name him first). It's a bit Bittersweet, but it's good (I think). Here it is:<br />
<br />
Jonathan’s backstory<br />
<br />
<br />
“Be Careful, Jonathan!” Mum called out.<br />
“I will, Mumma!” Jonathan tore through the forest, laughing gleefully. He didn’t know where he was going, but he didn’t care. He practically flew around and around. Then, he stopped.<br />
Standing in front of him was a little, blue person. “Smurf!” He cried out in glee, and reached to pick it up. The ‘Smurf’ vanished and appeared a little far off. Jonathan ran to grab it. It vanished again, and again, and again.<br />
The last ‘Smurf’ Appeared right next to a giant, golden, swirling thing. He went to grab it, but something tripped him. He toppled headfirst into the giant golden swirly thingy. He screamed, but no one heard him.<br />
“You alright lad?” Somebody had put his hand on Jonathan’s shoulder. Jonathan started to cry. “Ohh, come now, what’s your name, child?” He asked.<br />
“J-J-Jonathan” Jonathan managed to say between sobs.<br />
“Jonathan ‘eh? Well then, Why don’t ya come with me, eh? I’ve got a nice bedroom that’s just your size.”<br />
“B-but, But..”<br />
“But what?”<br />
“But Mummy and Daddy!” He sobbed even louder.<br />
“You can stay with me until we find ‘em, sound good?”<br />
Jonathan looked up at the man with huge, brown, tear-filled eyes. “Okay.” He said. The man lifted him up, and carried him off to his house.<br />
<br />
Did you guys like it? It's a bit shorter than the other one, but it's kinda deeper, and sadder.<br />
<br />
Let me know if you liked it, and please, if you have any ideas let me know down below!<br />
<br />
See you soon!<br />

<br />
So, according to <a href="http://art-of-life-girl.blogspot.com.au/2018/03/snippets-woot-woot.html">your guys' reaction</a> to the last post I did, you really liked the idea of the short stories!<br />
<span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Which is even better since I had a sudden inspiration from <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhW1mh7U6-U">a new song Psy discovered)</a> </span>And here is the end result. (I'm sorry if it's not that good - I had to try writing from a boy's perspective from the first time ever, so I'm sorry if it's terrible)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<span id="docs-internal-guid-160f82d9-69c8-7bfd-ef0d-e271a6151a50" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></span><span style="font-family: "arial";"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;">Tir na nOg.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw it; a blue spirit. It was quite short, but it was beckoning to me, a smile on its face. I hesitated. I knew what they were.
The Wil o’ the Wisps were mischievous spirits, that were said to guide some to a great treasure, or certain death. I look back at the school behind me; I had no friends, I was orphaned. What was one more friendless orphaned boy to the world? They’d stopped caring long ago. I followed the wisps.
As I walked, I wondered what they would show me. I’d explored every neck of these woods. I knew it off by heart. I’d had friends as a kid, but they had all moved away. Now I was the awkward kid that everybody steered clear of.
We reached a clearing that I’d never seen before; amazingly green grass, with beautiful flowers everywhere. Willow trees hung over head. It reminded me of a Fairy garden I’d seen on an ad in the Tv store.
I walked slowly into the middle of the meadow, wondering how on earth I’d ever missed this. I stepped on something and it glowed golden. I lifted my foot in alarm. Now, glowing golden on the grass was a strange symbol;</span></span></div>
<div dir="ltr" style="line-height: 1.38; margin-bottom: 0pt; margin-top: 0pt;">
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;">
</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<span style="font-family: "arial";"><span style="font-size: 14.6667px; white-space: pre-wrap;">I wondered what on earth it was doing and what it was when I heard chanting in a strange language. I looked up. And, much to my embarrassment, my mouth fell open in shock.
There, holding hands and dancing around me, were five beautiful girls. The youngest looked about eight, while the eldest was roughly my age, sixteen.
The words they chanted sounded inhuman, fairy like. It didn’t sound evil, it sounded friendly, and inviting. I found myself wanting to join in, but not knowing the words. Then, a golden and sweet voice came above the chanting;
“Come with us, my love one true
Come with us, to the place of blue
Come with us and play your part
Come, do not break our hearts”
The eldest held out her hand, and they continued to chant. I hesitated.
“Come with us, my only love,
To a place, like heaven above,
You have the gift of my elven kiss,” The Eldest removed her hand long enough to blow me a kiss, then held her hand out again. “Come with us, through the ancient mist.”
I hesitated.. What did I have to worry about again..? All I knew was that I wanted one thing. I wanted to join their happiness. I took her hand-..
And vanished.

<br />
So, I've been working on two stories - One my "A Child of Merlin" Story, one you'll see soon 😉 and I decided to put some snippets up for my Merlin story. So, here they are! .D.<br />
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
We walk into the central square. It is where the ceremony begins. I
am excited, so much so that I'm sure that I've given it away.
</div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
“It is time, once more, for the ceremony.” The Mayor, who has
been filling in for the King while He's a child, calls out. “I will
call out the Noble member of the Court's name, and they will be
Chosen. Merlin!”<br />
I grin as my friends gasp, shocked. “That's
what I couldn't tell you.. Sorry.” I wink at them.</div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
“Tristan!”
</div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
It's my turn to gasp, as above Tanner's head appears a symbol. One
appears above Mordaze's too. It looks like he is the newest member of
the King's Court.</div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
“Lancealot!”<br />
Layne stands there, stunned, as the Symbol
appears above his head.</div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
“King Arthur!”<br />
My eyes widen as Ackerley is chosen. This goes
on for a long time, but when Mordred is called, no one is chosen. I
suspect they already knew, like me, and took off. But what startles
me most, is when Guinevere's called, no one is there, either. We are
told that they will turn up, in a while.</div>
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
I notice something glowing out of the corner of my eye. It's behind a
door. I walk over to it, curious. I open it and walk in. And gasp.</div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="font-style: normal; line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;">
Right in front of me is an entire wall of books. I run over to them,
closing the door behind me. There are books on everything, from
plants to the ocean. I look around the rest of the dimly lit room.
There is a bed off to my right, and a huge table off to the left,
where a load of bottles are. I recognise some of them, from my books.
They have special properties. The Bottles have had spell after spell
put on them, so they can't be smashed, or broken in any way. There is
also an open book on the table. I walk up to it. It's a journal. I
flip through some of the pages. Apparently the Merlins before kept a
journal.</div>
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
<br />
<i>The fifth of June, 460.</i><br />
<i>This will be one of my last entries. The signs are coming to past, from the other entries. I have noticed a pattern. My child, if you are reading this, you must finish the Immortality Serum. I have left you all that I have discovered. You must finish the Serum so that this loop of reincarnation can end. Time must move forward. We are stuck in a loop. Research as much as you can, learn as much as you can, and please, find us a way out. Always remember that I love you, my Child. I love you, and so do the Merlins that have come before you. Take care, and don't forget to eat and sleep.</i><br />
<i>-Fern.</i><br />
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
I see a girl, beautiful, bound and gagged, and my old friend, Mordouze, pacing, and muttering.<br />
“They can't be that dumb,” He spits. “They'll find out soon enough, and the-” He looks straight at me. “Hello, Merlin. It's been a while hasn't it?” Startled, I walk backwards. “I can't see you, but I know you're there. Go tell Ackerley that I have his precious little Guinevere, mkay?” He fingers the girl's chin. I wish I could talk sense into him, if not fight him, but the vision ends. I curse loudly and slam my fists on the table, causing a lot of the bottles to topple. They do not smash, though.<br />
<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>I hear noises outside; probably people wondering who said that and what the banging noise was.<br />
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
I make my way to the door of the court and-<br />
“Halt!”<br />
-Get caught by the guards who have not seen me in years. I sigh.<br />
“Who are you?!”<br />
“Just let me through, I have urgent business with the king.”<br />
“Another commoner, I'm guessing.” Another guard sneers. I look up at him, eyes blazing. My temper gets the better of me.<br />
“If you call me a commoner one more time I'll turn you into a snake and fling you in the lake.” I hiss.<br />
“You are under arrest for insultin-” The other guard starts.<br />
“Get out of my Way!” I thrust out both of my arms to the side. The guards are thrown into a wall. I wince; I did not mean to hurt them.<br />
<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>But then again, because of the spell, the doors were now wide open. I stride in.<br />

I hope you guys enjoy these snippets! Let me know which one is your favourite!<br />
<br />
Also, just quickly, I apologise for not posting much recently - not much has come up.<br />
<br />
Just one more quick thing and then I'll be gone;<br />
<br />
How would you guys like it if every week or fortnight or so I post a short story? It'd help give me stuff to post (As there isn't much for me to post about lately) and it will (Hopefully) be entertaining for you guys! The First tag I'm gonna do is Mem's The <span style="background-color: white; font-family: "trebuchet ms" , "trebuchet" , sans-serif; font-size: 15.4px; text-align: center;">Versatile</span> Blogger Award (Thank you Mem!)<br />

Select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly. (Idk that I read that many blogs o-o)</div>
<div>
Nominate those 15 bloggers for the VBA.</div>
<div>
Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself. (Okay.. hmm)<br />
<br />
If you've done this before, you don't have to do it again, but I don't know 15 people, so I'm just gonna name a bunch o' you guys .D.</div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Okay.. Umm.. Seven facts about myself..</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
1. I have a short Bob haircut,</div>
<div>
2. I love Cheese</div>
<div>
3. I'm the youngest child in my family</div>
<div>
4. I'm also the only girl (Apart from my Mum)</div>
<div>
5. I went through a week were all I did was read & I loved it</div>
<div>

<div>
7. And I roleplay all the time .D.</div>
<div>
<br />
Okay, whew. First one's done.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Next one I'm gonna do is Slisby's and Andrea's Blue Sky Tags.. </div>
<div>
Here we go!<br />
<br />
Slissy's questions:<br />
<div>
1) What would your perfect room look like?</div>
<div>
To be honest? I don't honestly know. Like, there'd be posters of movies I watched and loved (Spiderman: Homecoming, Wonder Woman, Thor: Ragnarok, Star Wars, etc..), a Whiteboard or Window wall and a bookshelf Wall.. and All sorts.. Books everywhere...</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2) If your five-year-old self suddenly found themselves inhabiting your current body, what would your five-year-old self do first?</div>
<div>
Umm..</div>
<div>
Okay, so this would be a bit awkward. Believe it or not, my five-year-old self was actually really shy and quiet, definitely introverted. So I'd probably freak out and go hide in my room or something... (And then see how many Blueberries I could fit in my mouth and try and steal Mum's computer mouse)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3) What was the best book or series that you’ve ever read?</div>
<div>
Best Series:<br />
Either Dragon Slippers (By Jessica Day George) or Percy Jackson (By Rick Riordan) </div>
<div>
Best Book.. I don't really know.. Umm.. I don't know, sorry :|</div>
<div>
<br />
4) Was there ever a situation in your life where you thought to yourself, 'Wow, that escalated quickly..'?</div>
<div>
Not really, but since I first read this question I've been trying to find one .D.<br />
*I'm weird like that*</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
5) If you could time-travel to any time in the future or past, where/when would you go and why?</div>
<div>
Hmm...</div>
<div>
Skip :P</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
6) What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?</div>
<div>
As long as there is Magic, Friends and an evil villain who I can defeat, maybe a tortured backstory or two, I'm happy.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
7) If someone narrated your life, who would you want to be the narrator? (As in, a voice-over sorta thing.) </div>
<div>
Not my brother, though it'd be hilarious if he did. Umm. Maybe the Voice over person from Fairy Tail? (A show/anime I watch. If you wanna check it out <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAxbI5FoWbk&list=PLkCmM5NjhcDRJGuUbktH6qOcFCs3bZrWP">Here's a link</a>)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
8) How different was your life one year ago?</div>
<div>
*Laughs manically* You have NO Idea.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
9) As the only human left on Earth, what would you do?</div>
<div>
Go insane.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
10) Which would you prefer; Amusement Park or Day at the Beach?</div>
<div>
BEEEEEEEEAAAAAACCCCCCCHHHHHH</div>
<div>
Need I say more? XD</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
11) Which fictional character would be the most boring to meet in real life?</div>
</div>
<div>
I honestly don't know... Hm.. *Racks brain*<br />
Probably.. I don't honestly know.. Sorry T~T</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Andrea's questions:</div>
<div>
<div>
1. Do you like cooking?</div>
<div>
Yesss .D.<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
2. When's your birthday, and what would your ideal birthday be like?</div>
<div>
My birthday is often near Easter, so my ideal birthday would be FULL of chocolate, swimming and hanging out with friends, probably .D. </div>
<div>
<br />
3. Favourite colour?</div>
<div>
Blue. Definitely. .D.</div>
<div>
<br />

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>

<div>
Reading, Drawing, Writing, playing video games... Um.. I think that's it..?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
6. If you could travel to any country in the world, where would you go?</div>
<div>

<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
7. What's your favourite song?</div>
<div>
O-O</div>
<div>
I have a *LOT*</div>
<div>
But specifically, I like these four (Not in any order):<br />
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsValLyKX_E">Boop,</a></div>
<div>
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxVsjiyagKI">Not Fall in love with you,</a></div>
<div>
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrru4djia28">Like Morning Follows Night</a></div>
<div>
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If1jeIstbJs">Dream Come True</a></div>
<div>
(And almost any other RWBY song. These are all by Jeff Williams and Casey Lee Williams)</div>
<div>
8. Do you wear braces (or have you ever worn them)?</div>
<div>
I've never worn them o-o</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
9. Are you using this tag as an excuse not to do something else you have to do? (Because that's totally not what I'm doing?!)</div>
<div>
Nope. It was mostly the other way round... XD</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
10. Are you on Instagram, and if your account is public, can you give me your username so I can stalk you? (If it's private I understand if you don't want to share it!)</div>
<div>
...Nope, I don't have one. Shoulda mentioned this in the Seven facts thing, but I don't actually have a phone..</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
11. Do you think eleven is a ridiculously large number of questions to answer? (Or come up with??)</div>
</div>
<div>
This is Technically the 29th question, so eleven isn't a large number of questions, but it is to come up with T~T</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Now I gonna do the 'Of Rising Authors' tag from Andrea. Here are the questions:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
1. What is the reason you write? </div>
<div>
I've always loved stories, so I want to make my own. Stories have always been a very special part of my life.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
2. When did you write your first story? How old were you and what was it about? (Prepare to cringe, mwahaha.) </div>
<div>
...</div>
<div>
No</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*Sighs* I'm not sure, but I'll post part of one that I think I wrote when I was... eight..? Yeah, Eight. At least. I think. Idk</div>
<div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hi I’m Lucy and this is my story when I got home from school something weird happened there was a flash light on (we get home from school at 8:00) me and my little brother ran inside and there was the traitorous Peter! (he was known for sending people back in time). “Put my mum down!” I yelled “Yeah.”said my little brother “Why would I do that?” said the traitorous Peter “Um... because uh?” I said I saw mum wink at me and then dropped a piece of paper. I picked it up it said “I’ll be fine you warn your dad and hurry!!!”</div>
<div>
me and Joshua ran to dads work,with the traitorous Peter running after me and Joshua and we lost him then found dad and ran all the way home but it was to late all that was left was another note dad picked it sadly he read it in his head“I’m back in time at our marriage don't tell the kids I am not sad that I’m back in time because I get to learn! I miss you all.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
lots and lots of LOVE</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Judy XOXO</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*Shudders, then proceeds to die from shock that I wrote such a horrible thing* X-X</div>
<br /></div>
<div>
3. Do you have one particular word that, no matter how hard you try, you can't learn the spelling of? (Mine is "mischievieous" by the way. "Dissappear" also gave me a fair amount of grief.)</div>
<div>
Probably "Definately" (Definitely) and 'Tongue", which is strange, because on a computer I can spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious with my eyes closed.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
4. Do you sometimes feel that your characters take on a life of their own and start doing whatever they want? (Not… not that that happens to me… no… *sobs quietly*) </div>
<div>
... *Pats you shoulder, comfortingly*<br />
*Comforts you*<br />
<br />
But in answer to the question, Not really. Sometimes, maybe? But usually not.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
5. Would you date one of your characters? (SORRY NOT SORRY) </div>
<div>
...</div>
<div>
?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
6. Imagine you could pick four fictional characters to invite to a dinner party, who would they be and why would you invite them? (They don’t have to be book characters, they can be TV show or movie characters too.) </div>
<div>
NOOO</div>
<div>
THIS QUESTION IS TORTURE<br />
TOOORRRTUUURREEEEEE</div>
<div>
*Goes momentarily insane* *Pulls on hair*<br />
<br />
Umm.. I can't choooseee</div>
<div>
I'll just go with these four:<br />
Annabeth (Percy Jackson - Cos she's awesome)<br />
Creelisel (Dragon Slippers - She is also awesome (And cos I can't sew that well and it'd be awesome to be able to sew like she can))</div>
<div>
Uh..</div>
<div>
Oskar Sarn (If you know who this is I will give you virtual Pizza. He's also awesome and me favourite in the series.)</div>
<div>
And</div>
<div>
Oliver Somethingorother (He was also awesome. He's from the Princess of the Silver woods, a book which I absolutely ADORE.)</div>
<div>
7. If you could only read books of ONE genre for the rest of your life, what genre would that be? </div>
<div>
Fantasy. Definately</div>
<div>
T_T I spelt Definitely wrong AGAIN</div>
<div>
You see how much trouble this word gives me.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
8. What would happen if you switched places with your MC? Or if your MC switched places with you, and had to live in your world? Explain. </div>
<div>
Heh.. Heheh.. Most of the events in the story wouldn't come to pass..</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
9. Do you sometimes come up with perfect characters, a perfect fictional world, and a perfect subplot, but you have no actual story to put them in? (I can’t be the only one….) </div>
<div>
Sometimes</div>
<div>
Like, I have this really REALLY cool character that I invented and then immediately scrapped their story (Cos it was terrible) but I still LOVE the Character! .D.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
10. Are you sick of answering questions by now? (Come on, be honest.)</div>
</div>
<div>
Sorta. I started this post Early this morning, took a HUGE break and it's now, like, 6. I'm probably gonna take a couple o' days to do this.. XD</div>
<div>
<br />
I'm gonna tag someone for the same questions Andrea asked me, so Bella, here're your questions (In bold):<br />
<b><br /></b>

<b><br /></b>
<b>10. Are you sick of answering questions by now? (Come on, be honest.)</b><br />
<br /></div>
<div>
...It's the next day now, so technically for me it's Valentine's day, so Happy Valentine's Day!<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
And, in honour of this holiday *Cough Cough Or By accident Cough Cough* I'm going to do the 21 or 25 days of Christmas tag by Jassyyy .D. Thanks Jassy!! .D.<br />
<br />
Here're the questions:<br />
<br />
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
1. Would you rather, real tree or artificial tree?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Artificial, as I've never had a real tree. Though I'd choose a real tree if it came with real birds.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
2. What was the weirdest thing you've been given for Christmas?<br />
Hm..</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I don't honestly know. Uh.. I got a Onesie, if that counts as weird.. It's a bat one too, with little wings, eyes and a tongue.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
3. Favourite Christmas Carol?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
This is hard.. Joy to the World's pretty good.. Oh! It's probably <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8mjRxkMBkE">We Three Kings </a> or Noel</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
4. Hardest family member person to buy for?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Either Mum or Dad. I dunno why, it's just hard T~T</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
5. Do you have a Christmas family tradition?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
*Grins Evilly* So, aaaaaages ago, Christmas would get earlier each year, as we were too excited. It started at 2AM once I think..</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
6.What is your favourite (Christmas) treat?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Bullets. Or Christmas M&M's. Anything as long as it's Chocolate *Chocoholic*</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
(If you don't know what Bullets are, it's Black liquorice covered in chocolate)</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
7. From 1-10 how would you rate the year ?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Last year? If so, it'd be -10</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
8. Favourite Christmas joke?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I don't know.. *Googles Christmas Jokes*</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I found two funny ones:<br />
Q: What're the best books to read in the Holidays?<br />
A: Lord of the Five Golden Rings</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
And<br />
Q: How is the Alphabet different on Christmas then on any other day?<br />
A: It has Noel</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I'm sorry.. These are probably really really bad xD</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
9. Do you like the smell of cinnamon candles? (if you don't... well..I guess that's fine but man, you're </div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
missing out!)</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I have never smelt one before o-o - what's it like?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
10. Would you rather gift bags or wrapping paper?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I've rarely ever had wrapping paper, we usually just wrap gifts in fabric and then use the fabric again next year. So out of those two, I'd probably go gift bags.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
11. Favourite Christmas story / Movie?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Santa Claus is coming to town. Hands down, one of (if not the Best and Only) best Christmas movie I've ever watched.</div>

<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
12. Would you rather a small group of friends and family for Christmas or the whole family?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Small group of friends and family. The whole family would be hectic, seeing as I have about 20 uncles and aunts. (Exaggerating)</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
13. Funny Christmas story?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Umm.. I don't really have any.. Sorry.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
14. On a scale of 1-10 how do you rate the Christmas lights around your area?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Probably an eight or nine. They were really good!</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
15. Who do you think has it harder during the holidays? The kids or the parents?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Parents. They had to make a rule so we didn't get up at, like, midnight for Christmas .|.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
16. Favourite Christmas dinner?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I don't honestly know.. This year's and last year's were pretty good .D. Though we usually have Christmas lunch instead of dinner, then just snack on stuff for dinner</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
17. Best Childhood present? (ever)</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
For Christmas? I don't know. Sorry that I keep saying that, "I don't know," But I've never really thought about stuff like this.. If birthday presents count, I'd go a little Raggedy Ann doll that I got when I was one. Mine looks like a much older version of this one:<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51MVG0V90YL._SY450_.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="450" data-original-width="348" height="320" src="https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/51MVG0V90YL._SY450_.jpg" width="247" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
(But without the blush on her cheeks and ribbons on her feet)</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
18. Easiest family member to buy for?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Hmm.. Last year, Psy was pretty easy. I bought him 'The Maze Runner' second book, but yeah.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
19. Do you like gingerbread? Why or why not?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Sometimes. I'm a bit of a sweet tooth, so I prefer chocolate and sweeter stuff, but other than that, it's not bad .D.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
20. Did you find this tag fun?</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Yes .D.</div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div style="font-family: Lora, serif; font-size: 16px; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
21. Are you excited for this year?</div>
</div>
<div>
Yes. It's already going good, as I accidentally met someone online in real life and they helped me make new friends. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
But anyway,</div>
<div>
<br />
This pose is really long, so I'm gonna wrap it up now. See you!<br />
<br />
Oh, and one last thing; if you have an idea for a post you'd like me to do (Snippets, Guinea pigs, or anything else) Please let me know! :)<br />
<br />
See you all in the next one!<br />

Nothing blogworthy has been happening lately, so.. I'm sorry :(<br /><br />But, to make up for it, I'll tell you about a story I'm writing for Mum and put some snippets up, sound good? .D.<br />
<br />
Okay, the Story is about the Daughter of Merlin. It's best explained in the story, hang on..<br />
"...there's no Royal court, or King or Queen. But we know Arthur is here. And his Court. Every generation, for as long as anyone can remember has been a repeat of the same old legends.<br />
<span style="white-space: pre;"> </span>The old King and Queen and Court get reincarnated into new bodies. Usually into their Children's. Me and Ackerley and the others, including Tanner, who is now a scribe, used to fantasise about if or who we were or would be."<br />-Not someone speaking, but it's part of the story so I put quotation marks.. so..<br />
<br />
So, basically, every generation the Arthurian Legend's Court (Arthur, Merlin, Tristan, Lancelot, Mordred, Morgana, Guinevere, etc) is reincarnated into their kids. This story is about the Daughter of Merlin, so in this series, Merlin's a girl. Let me know if you don't understand, and I'll try and explain it better. By the way, someone new is introduced every Generation, a new member of the Kings' court.<br />
<br />
The characters are:<br /><br />
Malyn; the Daughter of Merlin. She is the main character, and is 13-16 throughout the story. (It's set over three years. They're all the same age.)<br />
<br />
Ackerley; The Son of Arthur.<br />
<br />
Mordaze: The newest member of the Kings' Court.<br />
<br />
Layne: The Son of Lancelot.<br />
<br />
Tanner: the Son of Tristan.<br />
<br />
Mordouz: Son of Mordred. He and Mordaze are twins. (This is Mordaze's evil twin😉)<br />
<br />
Now, time for the snippets! .D.<br />
<br />
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
The
old man sighs. “You again?” He says, gruffly.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
smile and nod. My name's Malyn, and it has been a dream since I was
little to be a knight. Mostly to avenge my Father, whom I never met,
but partially because of my friends, Ackerley, Mordaze and Layne.
They're all becoming knights. So why can't I?</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Name?”
The man says.<br />“Maly-” I started.<br />“I know your
name.”<br />“Then.. Why'd you ask?”<br />He shrugs. “It's
necessary. Age?”<br />“Thirtee-”<br />“I know your age. I've
known it since you tried to sign up as a small five year old.” I
dislike this man's attitude.</div>
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
When I'm upset, something I love to do is read my problems away.
Invest myself in a good book, and forget about life. So, I run to the
Library. The place where I drown my problems with words. I sit down
in my favourite chair and cry for a while. Ramon, the Librarian,
smiles at me. He knows when I need to talk, I'll talk. After a minute
or so, I explain what happened to Ramon. He smiles sadly at me. Then,
something dawns on him and he winks.<br />“You know, your Father
loved to read just as much as you did.” I sit bolt-upright in my
chair. No one ever talks about my Father. Only Ramon and Mother know
who it was, and they don't like talking about him much.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Really?!”</div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Of
course. I have something here, that he wanted me to show you when the
time was right. I think that's now.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
_________________________________________________________________________________</div>
The next few days are a blur of reading, practising Magic (Which, to my surprise and great delight, actually works!) eating and sleeping. Not much sleeping or eating, though. I'm exhausted, but thoroughly enjoying myself. Occasionally I look out my window to see Ackerley and Mordaze training. It is now five in the evening. I am still reading when I hear a knock on the door.<br />
“Malyn..?” It's Ackerley. I hurriedly put the book I was reading; Magic spells: The Fire Chronicles underneath my floorboard and make sure it's shut properly, as quietly as possible.<br />
“Come in.”<br />
Ackerley and Mordaze open the door and walk uncertainly into my room.<br />
“Listen, Malyn,” Ackerley says. “I'm really sorry. It's not my place to tell you what to do.”<br />
I grin. “It's okay. Really. I took your advice and found something else I love to do.”<br />
“Starving yourself?” Mordaze raises an eyebrow.<br />
“Huh?” I haven't actually realised how tired and hungry I am.<br />
“Look, just,” Ackerley hesitates. “Take care of yourself. Also, on a happier note, Tanner's finally taken our advice and taken some time off. He's gonna be up here for a couple of weeks.”<br />
“That's a first.” Mordaze mumbles.<br />
I grin, but they can tell I'm exhausted. Growing up with five practical brothers, they can tell these things.<br />
“Is Layne coming up too?” I ask, excitedly.<br />
“Yes, but if you don't get rested up you will pass out. We will leave you now. Come on, Mordaze. Bye Malyn.”<br />
“Bye.”<br />
They leave, closing the door behind them. I might take their advice. I close my eyes, thinking that it will take me forever to get to sleep, but I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.<br />
_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
(Sorry that this one's a bit big, but it's too funny to not include)<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
A couple of minutes later, I walk outside.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Gee,
Malyn, does it take that long for <i>every</i>
girl to get dressed each morning?” Layne teases.
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Nope, I just enjoy torturing my friends.” I stick my tongue out
at him.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Tanner raises his eyebrows. “I see you still have the subtlety of a
brick.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“And I see that you unfortunately became wittier.”
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
This was about to turn into an insult war, but Mordaze stops us.
“Guys, save the arguing for later. What're we gonna do
today?”<br />“Wait for the Ceremony?” Ackerley suggests, and at
that moment I thought he knew. I need not have worried, though.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Yes,
but what will we do <i>while</i>
we wait?”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I shrug. Layne looks lost deep in thought (for once). Tanner looks as
if he was about to say something, but changes his mind.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Somebody has got to have an idea,” Mordaze pleads. “Otherwise
we will be bored until it is time.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Library?” I suggest, but know only Tanner would like that idea.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Hey,
how about we go see Mordouz? I haven't seen him in a <i>long</i>
time.” Tanner suggests.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Um.. We could if you wanted to, but he doesn't really play with us
any more.” I say, uncertainly.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Why not? I mean.. you two used to be really close.” Tanner says,
confused.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Yeah, but he just.. Changed.”<br />“Like you did?” Ackerley
raises his eyebrows.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Hey, yeah. When are you planning to tell us about that, Malyn?”
Layne asks, suspiciously.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“You will all find out in good time.” I wink at them and Layne
groans.<br />“You've been saying that for about a week now. Just tell
us!” Layne says, impatiently.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Nope.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Please?” Mordaze begs.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Nope.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“What do we have to do to make you tell us?” Ackerley asks, which
surprises me. He usually doesn't care about secrets. I pretend to be
considering it.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Mmm... Nope.”<br />“Are you seriously passing down an
opportunity to stick Layne's head in a chamber pot?” Tanner says,
shocked.</div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“For once, yes.” They gape at me for a second. “Now I know I'll
never have the day alone.” I moan.</div>

Like, this isn't even a page long, but it's incredibly cute so I thought I'd share it <span style="font-size: xx-small;">(*Cough Cough while I come up with an idea for a post cough cough*) </span>So, here it is! Enjoy! (I challenge you to guess her age)<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“IT'S
CHRISTMASSSSSSSSSSSSSS!” I yelled, waking up the whole household in
the process. “It's Christmasit'sChristmasit'sChristmassssssss!!!”
I ran around in circles, my way of showing that I'm excited. I bumped
into my older sister, and stared up at her with huge, excited brown eyes.</div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Guess what, sis?!”
I said, excitedly.</div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
She grinned. I guessed
that she knew already, but I'm gonna tell her anyway. “What?”<br />“IT'S
CHRISTMASS!!” I jumped and hugged her. She laughed. I climbed down
and ran into my parent's room, who were somehow still asleep. I
grinned mischievously. I ran back to my room and shook my younger
sister awake.<br />“Wake up, wake up!”<br />“Mmmnyeh”<br />“But
Mummy and Daddy are still asleep!” I lowered my voice to a whisper.
“Let's go wake them up!”<br />She woke up and we held hands and ran
to Mummy's room. We grinned at each other, then, we jumped onto the
bed, yelling.</div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“MUMMY DADDY IT'S
CHRISTMAS IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!”<br />“OWWAOWAAOWWAAAA” My younger
sister can't speak well yet.</div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Honey, Honey!” Mum
said, “Calm down. It's not Christmas yet, it's Christmas
eve!”<br />“Oh.” I felt like crying, then immediately brightened.
“IT'S CHRISTMAS EVEEEEE!!”</div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
*Grins* I thought it was adorable. Let me know below if you thought it was too, and guess her age :D<br /><br />Also, can you guys please help me with something? I'm gonna do a tagpost soon, like Mem did, so I'd really appreciate it if you guys went through and showed me all the tags that I haven't done (As far as you know) so I can do them. Cos right now I've lost count o-o</div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Anyways, I'll seeya'll in the next one!<br /></div>

Okay, so first off, I'm gonna apologise for not being online for twelve days. I'm really sorry, and I do have a good excuse for it.<br />
<br />
Before I continue, please go and read <a href="http://art-of-life-girl.blogspot.com.au/2017/09/please-read.html">this post</a> then come back.<br />
<br />
So, we (not so long ago now, but at least a month or so ago) got a new <i>JOB!</i>! Then, like, a week or two later we got the first house we applied for!! And THEN...<br />
<br />
Our internet didn't come on for twelve days.<br />
<br />
So that is my excuse. This is only gonna be a short post, but I have a couple (Including posts about Books and Animals) planned. Please let me know in the comments if there are any tags I've missed or haven't done yet, or any posts you think I should read! I'm sorry again I've been absent, and wish I could've come back sooner :|<br />
<br />
So, yeah. I'll be posting a lot more as we settle in.<br />
<br />I'll see you in the next one!<br />
<br />

Sorry I've been M.I.A for a bit. I thought, since I haven't posted for a while I'd give you some snippets, like what happened <i>after</i> Antara got kidnapped! So, Here ya are!<br /><br /><br />_________________________________________________________________________________<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Then,
I heard a boy, roughly my age – fourteen – whisper in my ear.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Will
you stay quiet if I take my hand off your mouth?” He whispered, and
I nodded eagerly. He slowly removed his hand and as soon as it was
off-</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“HELP!”
I screamed, and he slammed his hand back over my mouth, but the
damage was done. I heard my friends cry out in alarm and their
footsteps, pounding against the cobblestone.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“What
should we do?” I was startled. Apparently there was another boy
there, roughly the same age.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Um,
explain to her what's going on?” Was that a girl's voice? I think
it was..<br />“Heh, when has that ever worked in the past?” The
first boys voice said.</div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Well...”
The girls voice said quietly.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">

<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%;">
“And the dead
awakens!” I jumped and looked to my left. A boy was sitting there,
watching me curiously. He had shaggy, sandy-blonde hair with blue
eyes and combat clothes, including a sword. My eyes widened when I
saw it, and he grinned. “I'm not gonna hurt you... yet.”
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%;">
“Xav, that doesn't
help.” The girl's voice surprised me. She was just ahead of me, in
the shotgun seat, with short, blonde hair and blue eyes. I could see
her in the mirror. She looked at me, sympathetic and curious.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%;">
“Since when do <i>I</i>
help?” 'Xav' retorted.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%;">
“Since
we became a team.” The first boy, from earlier replied. It startled
me that he was driving, but I refused to say a word.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%;">
“Good
point.” Xav said.</div>

considered my options.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%;">

<br />
I decided to Tackle the boy ones (Or at least Blaze), because reasons and I still have no idea who Xavier is and this might help me work out who he is and why he exists. (All of these characters are 14-16 through the stories, by the way<span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Including the ones I did yesterday I think? Okay, just the other ones I did :D)</span>)<br />
<br />
So, First one. This is the Second Main character, Blaze.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLdfR81ZMNA9_Sr_g7Xz_OrYg8TKS8FaYqtTdXvbazymSV6FPljvbi2iIHThct4tLL00oxMMvLFEPeWsOhi3EZkbTSNcLVU3kJdpMiNkje7Xi-1dFLbJTy8o5-M07opZSDyYqFc1CglaLq/s1600/Collage+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="722" data-original-width="904" height="255" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLdfR81ZMNA9_Sr_g7Xz_OrYg8TKS8FaYqtTdXvbazymSV6FPljvbi2iIHThct4tLL00oxMMvLFEPeWsOhi3EZkbTSNcLVU3kJdpMiNkje7Xi-1dFLbJTy8o5-M07opZSDyYqFc1CglaLq/s320/Collage+1.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: xx-small;">(I failed at this one so bad T_T)</span></div>
<br />
Blaze is one of the most /<i>interesting/</i> characters to write. I'm debating whether I should tell you his secret or not... Nah, I'll let you guys find out :D<br /><br />Blaze is often quite mean, but don't dislike him, he's trying his best the only way he knows how. He's known of the Shards almost all his life, and he used to be quite happy.<br />
<br />
Until one day that changed his life forever.<br />
<br />
But cos I'm mean I won't tell you what happened >:D *Insert Evil Laugh*<br /><br />He and Antara are my favourites in the book (But don't tell anyone :D) and his Personality type would be <a href="https://www.16personalities.com/istj-personality">ISTJ-A</a><br />
<br />
Quote: “Pitiful.”<br />
<br />Oh no *Groans* Now it's time for me to do Xavier. *Bangs head on desk*<br />
<br />
You know what I'm just going to do him later when I've developed more of him. All I know right now is that he's a bit like Antara in the 'Sassy' kinda way.<br />
<br /><br />Xav's Quote would be: “Since when do <i>I</i>
help?”<br />
<br />
I'm gonna head off now, so I'll leave you with a snippet from my story (It's quite a big one, just a warning)<br />
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
* * * </div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“'Allo
there, Missy.” Said the Man. He looked as though he was in his
mid-thirties, and was growing facial hair, which was a shaggy black.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Oh,
um.. Hello.” I replied. “Just looking.” It was the school's
annual market, and strangely enough, some adults had volunteered to
sell some stuff. This was one of them. He sold crystals, or crystal
necklaces. Normally I don't go for jewellery, but my 'friends' had
insisted we each get one and had annoyed me into it.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“What's
your name?” He asked me, smiling.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“My
name is Antara, sir.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Why
don't you come with me, 'eh? I'm normally not supposed to do this,”
He lowered his voice to barely above a whisper. “But I've got a
special stock. Come with me, and you can 'ave one for free.” He
winked at me, and I smiled back.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Oh!
Thank you.” He led me behind the stall and showed me a beautiful
tray of crystals. The one in the middle, a beautiful, pure white
crystal, shaped like a prism, looked a little different from the rest
of the other, prism-shaped crystals. It had black engravings. I
barely saw the others before I had decided. I wanted that one.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“May
I have this one, please?” I asked, picking it up. He grinned.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“'Aye,
Ma'am. 'Ere,” He passed me a leather cord, and that's when I
noticed the crystal had a small hole in it. “Would you like to wear
it?” I nodded, and he passed me a leather cord. I threaded the
leather cord through the crystal, and He looked aghast for a split
second, then continued his bogan-ish act. “Enjoy, Miss!”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Thank-you!”
I smiled, then turned and walked away. “Oh, and si-”<br />Gone.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
The
stall was gone.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
My
heart started to pound. I ran towards one of my friends who was
getting her fortune told and asked her if she had seen the stall
disappear.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“What
stall? Are you feeling okay?” She asked, concerned.
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
backed up and looked around. The stall still wasn't there.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
started to shake, and continued to back up, until I was just in front
of an alley.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Heh,
that was one of the biggest mistakes I made..</div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Or
was it?<br />I felt an arm slip around my waist, and my eyes widened in
fear. A hand covered my mouth before I could scream. I felt the arm
yank me backwards, into the shadows.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">

<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9VNH6pEQg-brTKNmaj6-4FI6m2v1JG_PpdKxbQbPcj0-YXfggTd5XU5TLOcV_IfaYxhWkaS2FLPJE80yAvWHncT6qamdbDFKaLu0qjYdgsn4f8sL-z1p5cOnTIYEa_PUtHDmXYWpLmRHq/s1600/Rose+Collage+1%255D.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="477" data-original-width="476" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9VNH6pEQg-brTKNmaj6-4FI6m2v1JG_PpdKxbQbPcj0-YXfggTd5XU5TLOcV_IfaYxhWkaS2FLPJE80yAvWHncT6qamdbDFKaLu0qjYdgsn4f8sL-z1p5cOnTIYEa_PUtHDmXYWpLmRHq/s320/Rose+Collage+1%255D.jpg" width="319" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Wow, I <i>actually </i>did a collage and it was <i>actually </i>good! o-o)</span></div>
<br />
Rose is a bit of a silly girl. She looks for the good in everybody, and almost nothing can bring her down. Her personality type would be <a href="https://www.16personalities.com/enfp-personality">ENFP-A</a> and I think it's really awkward how we (almost, mine's a -T I think..) have the same personality types, even though we're different. Don't be fooled by her cuteness, she is pretty good with shards, and can handle up to three or even four Fallax members at a time. She can be tough when she needs to be, but she's mainly soft and kindhearted, <span style="font-size: xx-small;"><strike>(unlike someone you'll meet later on.</strike>.)</span> Her flaw would probably be that she's too trusting of others.<br />
<br />
Her theme would definitely be <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c5B5FRcbdiA">The Heart of the Wilderness</a> by Antti Martikainen<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
Quote: “I
know it can be pretty rough. I only found out late two years ago, and
it's still hard kinda for me to believe. Ask your heart, and let it
decide, rather than your brain box.”<br />
<br />
Second Character (Who's actually the main, but I'll go with it): Antara.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHRxGpemGL3zqVjgoxvkgV-fvcoTjsoKsKkAaqd0pJsVwEDvk_cXrgTPQYUDvdVm4deqTlU6xQ4tRnomDJtiiEHJndxuP9LVRjxG-rsc_E2lXKJ5mlFaUBl9T_rrx5d7tZvw75xzRUMbhM/s1600/Collage.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="718" data-original-width="743" height="309" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgHRxGpemGL3zqVjgoxvkgV-fvcoTjsoKsKkAaqd0pJsVwEDvk_cXrgTPQYUDvdVm4deqTlU6xQ4tRnomDJtiiEHJndxuP9LVRjxG-rsc_E2lXKJ5mlFaUBl9T_rrx5d7tZvw75xzRUMbhM/s320/Collage.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-size: xx-small;">(Okay yeah this one wasn't as good as the last one)</span></div>
Antara is a tomboy. She's pretty sassy, and one of the characters you'll meet soon even says "“Well
you've got attitude.”, but underneath that sassy attitude, she's as kindhearted as Rose. Her father left when she was young on 'business trips' <strike style="font-size: x-small;">(which totally wasn't true) </strike> One day he left on one of these such trips and never came back. He enclosed to his daughter a steel box. It's been almost three years since he left, and the box has been neglected in grief for her Father. Her Mother locks herself in her room, neglecting the outside world. Antara's personality is surprisingly the same as Rose's; <a href="https://www.16personalities.com/enfp-personality">ENFP-A</a><br />
<br />
I think her theme would be <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njrOXpWqVWo">Battle for Camelot</a> by Tartalo Music<br />
<br />
Quote: “It's
a dead end, you dunce.”<br />
<br />
If you want me to do the other two characters (Blaze and Xavier) please let me know! (If you do tell me to do them, don't blame me if it takes a while; Xavier is the most <i>confusing</i> character I have, because I have no idea who he is yet.)<br /><br />Now, on to the Nano situation.<br />
<br />
You guys may or may not have noticed my recent activity on Official NaNoWriMo. I've decided against doing it, BUT!<br />
<br />
I will be doing the Young Author's Nanowrimo, and I'm sorry it's just, I'm not ready for something that big yet. And besides, I'm <i>way </i>younger than everybody thinks 😉<br /><br />Anyway, see ya in the next one!<br /><br />-RalRalraymeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07981268172886609558noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2486354890898654599.post-91818323875338198302017-10-12T14:03:00.000-07:002017-10-12T14:03:50.282-07:00Indigo's Monthly Writing Challenge: October <div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Hey Guys!</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
So, I think I'll probably be doing this every month (unless there's a theme that I don't like or don't know how to do) and I encourage you all to do the same. If you do, I'll share the brownies with you that I baked for Indigo (Don't worry Indigo, I have a loooot :D)<br />
<br />
Anyway, on with the story!!<br />
<br />
Just
a quick warning; this story's not gonna have a happy ending, like
allll of my other stories, because the theme is Halloween, but I
might write a second one, just because it's so interesting XD<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
The
Night of the Dead.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
woke up. It was late morning, and Halloween began tonight. I
shivered; Halloween wasn't normal in this town, the town of Mors.
Centuries ago, in 1692, a witch cursed the town. She cursed it so
that every night, on Halloween, the monsters would come out. Wanting
flesh, blood and bones. It always began at night, at six pm.
Everyone had to be inside by then, otherwise they'd meet an
unbearable fate, worse than death. As a teenager, though, I've
watched some of my friends die pretty gory deaths, because they were
dumb enough to try to survive out there.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Janine!
You up yet?!” My Mother's voice tore me away from my thoughts.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Coming
Mum!” I yelled back. I got dressed and headed downstairs.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“There
you are! Ready for our Halloween chores?” She said with a small
smile.<br />
“Can I have breakfast first?” I asked.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Of
course! Come outside when you're ready.” She walked outside, and I
could hear her singing as she hung garlic from the doorway, and
nailed silver to the door. As I ate, I wondered how it was possible
that she could be so happy on this dreadful day, especially after
what happened to Dad.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
didn't remember this, but this is what apparently happened to Dad.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
We
were riding home from a nearby town. We had hoped to get there before
six, but we didn't. We had put up the defences early, so we ran to
the door. Dad held off Harpies while Mum fumbled with the keys. She
unlocked it, pushed me inside and turned around just as Dad got
carried off by one of the Harpies. Another kicked Mother back, and
flew inside. They scratched me, across the eye, while trying to carry
me off, too. But Mum wouldn't allow that. She closed and locked the
door, and grabbed a nearby Frying Pan. The Harpy was dead within
fifteen minutes.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
washed my plate and headed outside. Mum was already nailing silver
and garlic to the door frame, humming as she worked.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“So...”
I said, announcing my arrival. “What should I do?”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Well,
you could put the Wolfsbane around our lawn.” Mum replied with a
smile. I nodded and reached down to pick some up. “Wait!” Mum
said, and I stopped, stood up, and looked at her curiously. “You'll
need these. Wolfsbane is deadly to everything, including humans.”
She handed me a pair of thick, leather gloves.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“So..
Ryan would be immune then?” I asked, and Mother laughed. Ryan was a
friend of mine, who I'd grown up with.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
put on the gloves and planted the Wolfsbane around our lawn. I'd
researched the stuff, and apparently it's called many, many weird
names, including Women's Bane and Blue Rocket.
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
finished planting the Wolfsbane around our lawn a couple of hours
later, and walked over to Mother. It was getting close to Halloween's
beginning; 4:30 Pm. I saw a couple of people go inside and lock their
doors.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Do
you think you could get to the church to get some Holy Water in
time?” Mother asked me, nervously.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“O'
course, after all – I am known for my speed.” I smiled.
</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Be
careful, and hurry back.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“Hurrying
is what I do best.”</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
took off, running as fast as I could. It was 5:30 when I arrived. The
church was closed. My heart pounding, I ran back, as fast as I could,
though I knew I would not arrive on time. I ran to my door and
pounded on it, yelling out for my Mother, though she knew better. She
was crying as she came to the window. I put my hand on the glass, and
she did the same. Tear striken, I pounded on the door, though I could
tell it was making it worse for Mother. <br />
I pounded on it for
thirty minutes before they noticed.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
felt someone... <i>something</i>,
grab my waste. I closed my eyes, waiting for the searing pain, and
then the end. But instead, I heard a voice.</div>

“Well...
What have we here?” A male's voice said. I screamed, tears running
down my face. “A poor little girl, known for her speed, was finally
<i>late.</i> And it cost you
your sanity.. How.. <i>sad</i>..”
I kicked and thrashed, but the thing held tight. I yelled out for
help, knowing no one would come. I knew it was no hope. He moved
closer and closer.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Then,
he bit my neck.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
screamed.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Next
thing I knew, I was on the ground, my mouth and neck ached.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<i>How
am I not dead..?</i></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
I
glanced behind me, and I saw a man, extending a hand down to me.</div>
<br />
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
“You're
one of us now. Come with me, otherwise... Let's just say your death
would disappoint me.” I cautiously took his hand and we disappeared
into the night.</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
This is definitely the darkest thing I've written.. I'm sorry XD</div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
<br /></div>
<div class="western" style="line-height: 150%; margin-bottom: 0cm;">
Anyway, Seeya next time!</div>
